In the interest of safety for students, staff and families, Pinellas County Schools and all district offices will remain closed on Friday, Sept 2, 2016. Schools will open and district business will resume as normal on Tuesday, Sept. 6 following the Labor Day holiday.

The Growing Tree will be closed Thursday, 9/1/16, due to weather.

The Growing Tree will start registration for our summer programs on April 4th.  Programs are available to all children who are 2,3,4 or 5 years of age by September 1, 2016.  Please check the “Summer Programs” section listed under “Programs” for more information.

Registration will begin for the 2016-17 on February 8th. Classes are filled on a first come/first serve basis. New rates and forms will be added to this website by January 18. VPK registration must include a voucher from the Pinellas Early Learning Coalition. Vouchers should be available starting on Jan. 19. Information on how to get the voucher may be found at www.elcpinellas.net

The Growing Tree’s annual Fall Festival is this Saturday, 10/17, from 4-7pm. Games, prizes, food and a Bounce House will be right here at our Pumpkin Patch! Ticket prices will be $1 each, with all booths being 1- 3 tickets. We also have decorated pumpkins from each class that will be auctioned off. Bring the whole family out to enjoy an evening of fun, games and picking the perfect pumpkin!

The pumpkins will arrive this Saturday (10/3) at 9am! We can use all the help we can get to unload them from the truck. It is a fun morning for everyone. There’s something to do for all ages so bring the kids, young and old. We even have a mom who will be in charge of the little ones while we unload the truck. The weather is supposed to be perfect.

The Growing Tree will offer summer programs for children 2-5 years of age.  A 5-day (9am-2pm) camp will be offered for children entering VPK or Kindergarten in the fall.  A 3-day (9am-12pm) Fun Play will be offered for children who will be 2 or 3-yrs-old by Sept. 1, 2015.  Registration will begin on Monday, 4/13 and forms with more information are located on this website under “Programs”.

The Growing Tree will be having our annual Art Show Open House on Thursday, Feb. 5th from 6:30-7:30pm.  The children will have their art work displayed in all classrooms.  There also will be an art trivia contest and you could win a free week of Summer Camp or Fun Play! Plan to come on out and visit all the rooms and see what great artists we have here at the Tree!

Thank you Carrie Fleeman and her Parent Club for making this year’s Fall Festival one of the best ones yet!  We appreciate all the moms & dads that volunteered and, also, the PHUHS Key Club!  Everyone had so much fun including the teachers!  Thanks again to the Parent Club for all their hard work!
